What Hourly care involves
Personalised Care: Hourly care is tailored to the individual's specific needs and preferences, including emotional support and companionship.
Scheduled Visits: Carers visit at pre-arranged times to provide support.
Flexible duration: Visits can be as short as 30 minutes or as long as several hours, depending on the level of support required.
Range of tasks: Carers can assist with various tasks, including personal care (bathing, dressing), meal preparation, light housework, medication reminders and companionship. Carers do not just provide practical help, but emotional support too.
Maintenance of independence: Hourly care aims to support people in their homes, promoting independence and allowing them to stay in their familiar surroundings.
